GOLF AT RENAISSANCE RESORT

The two championship 18-hole golf courses that are located at the World Golf Village are owned and operated by Honors Golf. Signature amenities include complimentary range balls, chilled fresh apples, cool towels and GPS on every cart.

The King & Bear course is named for its co-designers, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. This 7,279-yard course is playable and very picturesque - with lakes, loblolly pines and 200-year old live oaks. The King & Bear is rated among "Top 50 Courses for Women" by Golf for Women. 

The Slammer and Squire course was designed by course architect Bobby Weed in collaboration with Sam Sneed and Gene Sarazen. This challenging layout meanders through pine-lined fairways and wetland corridors. The back nine offers picturesque views of the Village and the Hall of Fame.

The clubhouse offers a fully stocked pro shop, locker rooms with showers for both men and women, and a restaurant/lounge. The practice facilities include a complimentary range, practice bunkers, chipping and putting greens. A Full Swing Golf Simulator is located adjacent to the hotel lobby and features more than 30 championship course options.

THE PGA TOUR Spa Laterra

PGA Tour Spa Laterra is a world-class, full-service spa that was recently named "Best Spa for Golf" by Spa Finder readers. The Spa provides special golf-enhancement services and fitness programs as well as traditional spa services.

Secluded courtyards, an infinity-edge pool, 11 treatment rooms (including 3 treatment rooms in floating cabanas perched over a Koi Pond) provide a serene sanctuary for spa guests. The spa also offers a fitness center, full-service salon and retail boutique.

From Jacksonville:

 Take I-95 South to Exit 323. Turn right off the exit ramp onto Intl Golf Parkway. At the first light turn right onto WGV Blvd, and follow until the road ends. The Hotel is straight ahead. // From I-95 North turn left off exit ramp onto Intl Golf Parkway and follow the above directions.

From: Daytona Beach Int'l. Airport

 Left on Midway Avenue, head W, go 1 or 2 mi to International Speedway or 92 West. Go west to 86A then West to I-95. I-95 North to exit 95A (International Golf Parkway) go west to first light and right into World Golf Village.
