ADMIRAL LEHIGH GOLF CLUB (239-369-4075)
Florida Golf Course Review 10/15/05
Admiral Lehigh is one of three area courses owned and operated by Greentree - with the others being the
Majestic and MirrorLakes. Located on East Joel Blvd in Lehigh Acres, this property includes the Masters Tavern,
a pro shop, banquet facilities as well as a grass/mat range, putting green and short game area with sand bunker.
The Admiral Lehigh Golf Studio, which presents a relaxing and enjoyable way to learn about golf, is also part of the complex.
The course features a traditional Florida style design, with native trees and vegetation lining a mix of open and
tight fairways that lead to mildly undulating green complexes, with slightly raised putting surfaces. The maturity of
the course is evident, as many of the greens are surrounded by lush palms and tropical foliage, presenting a buffer from the nearby residential community.
Three sets of tees provide golfers with opportunities to play from distances and slopes measuring 6308
yards/118 slope, 5974 yards/113 slope, and 4971 yards with a slope of 115 from the forward tees. On course
yardage blocks are situated on the fairways at 100, 150 and 200 yards, and color coded flags indicate front, middle and back pin placements.
Waste areas that are landscaped with pampas and palms combine with 45 sand bunkers and numerous ponds
to create the scenery and challenge. In total, water hazards come into play on 14 holes, with some forced carries
over crossing canals. Golfers will not find upscale facilities and amenities at Admiral Lehigh, but they will
encounter a fun round of golf for a reasonable rate. For More info, visit our page for the course, with direct link to their website by clicking here.
