CYPRESS CREEK GOLF CLUB ( 561-732-4202)
Florida Golf Course Review
Cypress Creek in Boynton Beach is a 3 star (Golf Digest Places to Play) semi-private Von-Hagge design that is known as having some of the truest and
fastest greens in Palm Beach County. This reasonably priced course features a number of amenities, including practice facilities that include a targeted
grass range, putting green and short game area with practice bunker. Cypress Creek also boasts a full service clubhouse with locker rooms and showers,
pro shop, plus a nicely appointed restaurant/lounge and banquet/outing facilities.
Five sets of tees at Cypress creek afford golfers and opportunity to play to yardages and slopes that measure 6531 yards/131 slope, 6250 yards/128
slope, 5596 yards/124 slope, 5395 yards/11 slope and 4773 yards/121 slope. There is enough water and sand bunkers along the course to keep the
round interesting. Golfers will also encounter an abundance of waterfowl and wildlife, especially beside the ponds and canals that dot the property. During
our fall 2004 visit, a Burring Owl was nesting in the greenside bunker of the eighth hole.
While we did not have time to play the course to provide a complete review, the photos provided here give a brief glimpse of the property. For more info,
