LANSBROOK GOLF CLUB (727-784-7333)
Florida Golf Course Review
Lansbrook Golf Club in Palm Harbor is a 3 1/2 star (Golf Digest Places to Play) Lane Marshall championship design that is professionally maintained to a
level of excellence typically found at private country clubs. Manicured fairways lead to the Tidwarf Bermuda greens - some of the most consistent putting
surfaces in Florida. The acreage is replete with ponds and lakes, as water hazards come into play in some shape or form on 16 of the 18 holes.
Though bound by trees and water, and dotted with over 40 sand bunkers, there is often plenty of area in the landing zones along the fairways - which do
not run parallel at any point along the course. The majority of sand traps are situated greenside. Four sets of tees at Lansbrook play to distances and
slopes measuring 6846 yards/131 slope, 6249 yards/124 slope, 5844 yards/118 slope and 5285 yards with a slope of 124 from the forward tees.
On course golfers will find yardage blocks at 100, 150 and 200 yards, with a 150 yard stake visible in the center of the fairways. Sprinkler heads and cart
paths are also marked with measurements to the center of the green, and daily pin placement sheets are provided.
Practice facilities include a full-scale driving range plus putting and chipping greens. The clubhouse features a pro shop stocked with attire and
accessories, a clubhouse grill for drinks and meals, banquet/outing facilities for up to 100 people, and locker rooms with showers for both men and women.
The property is located 3 miles north of Tampa Road off East Lake Road on Village Center Drive - only 30 minutes from the beaches, Tampa Airport and
many of Tampa's major attractions. For more info on Lansbrook, visit out page for the course, with direct link to their website by clicking here.
