LINKS OF NAPLES ( 239-417-1313)
Florida Golf Course Review
The Links of Naples is a 4,005 yard layout that is considered to be the finest executive layout in the region. This short course is lit for night play - a nice
perk for vacationers and locals looking for some extra practice or for a quick evening round. There also is a lighted aqua range that is open during the
same hours as the course. Hours of night time operation vary by day and season, so it is wise to call ahead.
Four sets of tees play to distances measuring 4005, 3725, 3443, and 3194 yards. The layout is nicely maintained and presents an enjoyable experience
for all levels of players. Small, traditional greens are often well protected by sand bunkers, and mounds and elevated tee areas help to create some
challenges. There are several par four holes that measure over 300 yards in length.
On my Mid-October visit, the course was in excellent shape - as finely manicured and maintained as some of the top championship courses in the area. It
was especially fun playing at night...very easy to spot the ball as the lighting was very adequate. On property is a practice green and clubhouse with snack
bar area serving beverages and hot & cold sandwiches.
We highly recommend a round at the Links of Naples - be it during the day or in the evening (the course stays open as late as 11 pm). Great for those who
cannot get enough golf, this course is perfect as a first round for those arriving late on the initial day of a golf trip. From downtown Naples, it is a twenty
minute drive or more (south on 41) depending upon traffic - but the drive it is definitely worth it! Rates top out in the $40's including cart during prime
season. For more info, visit our page for the course, with direct link to their website by clicking here.
