The Majors at Bayside Lakes is an Arnold Palmer Signature course that has been heralded as one of the most
pristine layouts in Brevard, with a practice facility that was named as one of the "Top Ten in the World" by The
Golfer Magazine. Reminiscent of Carolina layouts, this design features thick forests of pine and abundant strands of sand spread out over 240 acres.
The property features a beautiful 6,000 square foot clubhouse with pro shop, locker rooms with showers for men
and women, and Signatures restaurant - serving breakfast, lunch and dinner menus in an environment
overlooking the 9th and 18th greens. The facility is perfect for corporate or charitable events, with impressive food options and wonderful service in a convenient setting.
The par 72 layout presents five sets of tees that play to distances and slopes measuring 7352 yards/140 slope,
6813 yards/136 slope, 6484 yards/129 slope, 6105 yards/125 slope and 5021 yards with a slope of 128 for
women playing from the forward sets. Sprinkler heads on course are measured to the center of the green, as are
yardage blocks at 100, 150 and 200 (plus 250 on par fives) yards. Color coded flags indicate front middle and
back pin placements on the large, undulating putting surfaces, which are often protected by intricately shaped sand traps.
In total, 70 sand bunkers and sprawling waste areas are stationed along the well manicured fairways or are
positioned greenside, and water in the form of lakes, ponds, creeks or natural areas comes into on 16 of the 18
holes. This includes the beautiful par three 15th , which features a large island green complex. The 18th hole - a
snaking par four (# 3 handicap) which begins near a marsh area and also demands a carry over more wetlands on the approach, is also a very memorable golf hole.
The Golf Academy on property specializes in individual and group lessons, with longtime PGA mentor and
teaching professional Steve Underhill at the helm. Majors offers internet specials though their website, and
