MIRRORLAKES GOLF CLUB (239-369-1322)
Florida Golf Course Review 10/15/05
MirrorLakes is part of a triad of golf courses in the Lehigh Acres area that are owned and operated by Greentree
(the others are the Majestic and Admiral Lehigh). This course is a Mark MaHanna championship design that
covers 7200 yards of level terrain that winds through a residential community. Players will encounter an
interesting design that is user-friendly, but with enough hazards to make it a challenge for all levels of skill.
The mildly undulating green complexes are only slightly raised, and often provide ample room for recoveries.
Likewise with the generous fairways, which are often lined with trees, gentle mounds and/or sand. In total, there
are over 60 sand bunkers or waste areas situated along the landing zones or greenside. Water comes into play
on eleven holes, though most of the hazards are situated along the perimeters - and with the exception of a few holes, are not a factor.
In establishing the policy for making this experience player friendly, the course has established 7 tee areas.
Golfers can choose from tee boxes measuring 7202 yards/127 slope, 6827 yards/124 slope, 6571 yards/119
slope, and 6110 yards/114 slope, 5765 yards/111. Two alternate women's tees play to 5620 yards/121 slope
and 4901 yards/113 slope. On course 150 yard stakes are visible on par fours and fives, 100 and 200 yard
blocks are present on the fairways, and color coded flags indicate front, middle or back pin placements.
Partial cart paths make for a convenient and quick paced experience. On property facilities include a grass
range and practice green, and the clubhouse features a pro shop, restaurant/lounge serving breakfast and lunch items, plus full service bar. This is a great value golf round for the area.
