Stoneybrook Golf Club in Estero, between Ft Myers and Naples, is a Jed Azinger/Gordon Lewis championship
design with a reputation for excellent greens and superb course conditions. Open for public play, this course
winds through immense preserve areas, with glistening lakes, wide rolling fairways, plentiful bunkering and significant mounding. Stoneybrook is also unique in that it provides seven sets of tees!
The championship tees provides one of the longest challenges in Florida, as it plays to a whopping 7343 with a
formidable slope rating of 141. Alternate sets measure 6715/135 slope, 6208/125 slope, 5644/112 slope - and
seniors, juniors, beginners and women can enjoy their round from the Challenger tees at 5163/122 slope, the
Competitor tees at 4672/115 slope and the Futures tees at 3211 yards/115 slope. There is water in play in
some shape or form on all 18 holes, and 95 sand bunkers are located along the fairways or greenside.
Facilities at Stoneybrook include a spacious, modern clubhouse that features a full service pro shop stocked
with the latest in golf merchandise, a beautiful Club Restaurant that is open for lunch and dinner, plus outstanding
meeting/event capabilities. There also is a concession stand at the turn, featuring snacks, hot and cold
sandwiches and beverages. Ice chests and weather protectors for golf clubs are standard on all carts. On course
yardage plates are posted at 100, 150 and 200 yards on the fairways, and Par View GPS is standard on all
carts, providing accurate info from tee to pin. Sprinkler heads are also marked and 150 yard stakes are visible
on all par fours and fives. The practice area includes over 2 acres of grass teeing stations, a 17,000 square foot
putting green, plus a short game area for chipping and bunker practice. With these fine facilities, Stoneybrook is able to offer a wide range of lessons and instructional programs.
