Twin Isles Country Club in Punta Gorda is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary and is home to a wide variety of wildlife: Eagles, osprey, roseate spoonbills, wood stork,
egrets, ibis and herons are some of the many species that make their home on the golf course. The 18-hole layout plays to a par 72 and is quite walk-able, with tee areas situated
not far from the nicely conditioned green complexes.
The interesting design is mildly rolling and features plentiful sand bunkers, with over 60 traps situated near the landing areas off the tee or greenside. There is water in play on 14
holes - mostly on the perimeter. Pampas and tropical foliage abound, adding aesthetic beauty as well as challenge. The fairways are generally wide and the greens are medium
size and mildly sloping - land in regulation and good scores can be had.
This course is very user friendly, with 5 sets of tees that play to 6722 yards/129 slope, 6392 yards/124 slope, 5970 yards/ 119 slope, 5751 yards/117 slope, and 5258 yards/110
slope for men and 118 for women . Golfers of various skill levels can enjoy a round here. The layout plays fairly easy from the front tees, and presents enough challenge from the
back sets. There is a 150 stake on all par fours and fives, and 100, 150 and 200 yard markers are posted on the cart paths.
The clubhouse at Twin Isles features a pro shop plus dining areas that include a main dining room, bar & grill plus outdoor grill. Banquet/outing facilities are on property and
practice facilities are comprehensive with a driving range, short game area with bunker plus putting green. This course is available for play by members, guests of members, with
