The Carolina Golf Club is a Carl Litton 18-hole championship design with outstanding conditioning and playability, and has earned the distinction of being named as one of the
Top 100 women-friendly courses in the United States. Conveniently located off I-95 between Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale, The Carolina Club is a semi-private facility open for
public play, and is known for its history and tradition as a past qualifying site for the PGA Tour's Honda Classic. High quality conditioning, service and consistency of playability of
the 6,705 yard layout make it a local and tourist favorite. Competitive pricing also makes it quite popular.
Four sets of tees provide golfers an opportunity to choose to play from tees that measure 6705 yards/141 slope, 6205 yards/132 slope, 5645 yards/119 slope and 4978 yards with
a slope of 120 for women. There are yardage markers on the fairways at 100, 150 and 200 yards, plus sprinkler heads that are measured to the center of the green, and daily pin
placement sheets are provided.
Practice facilities include spacious grass tee stations - that are lit for night practice, along with a putting/chipping green. The clubhouse includes a 3,000 square foot Top 100 golf
shop, plus locker rooms with showers for both men and women. McDivot's Restaurant has been voted as one of the top 100 in South Florida. An outdoor patio compliments these
fine facilities, which also include banquet and meeting rooms.
Planned renovations at on the golf course - including new bunkers and tee areas that will add length to the course, will soon provide an upgrade and more challenge. A
professional staff is on hand at the Carolina Club, to assist guests in planning outings or special events, and to provide information on the variety of topics including golf instruction
and membership. Carolina Club has been rated "Excellent" for overall golf experience by the Miami Herald, and was voted as a Top 100 women-friendly course by Golf for Women Magazine.
