Esplanade Golf & Country Club of Naples, a Chris Wilczynski design (of CW Golf Architecture), is a gorgeous par 72, 18 hole championship course that winds through a
residential community and features outstanding conditioning and landscaping from tee to green.
The current clubhouse features a pro shop, dining area/lounge and patio. There is a full scale practice facility with aqua range, short game area with sand bunker, plus putting
green. A new clubhouse is in the planning stages, and facilities will include a spa and fitness area, tennis courts, pool and tiki bar plus other upscale amenities. Memberships
are available.
The marking system on course includes 150 yard stakes that double as directional devices on all par fours and fives, plus sprinkler heads that are measured to the center of the
green. Par threes also have yardages posted at the tee boxes.
This course is challenging for skilled players from the tips, and very user friendly from the mid and front tees. 5 sets of tees play to yardages and slopes measuring 6983
yards/134 slope, 6457 yards/129 slope for men and 134 slope for women, 6061 yards/123 slope for men and 128 for women, 5460 yards/ 115 slope for men and 122 for women,
and , 4770 yards/119 slope for ladies playing from the forward tees. With multiple tee areas, golfers of various skill levels can enjoy a round here.
Water hazards come into play in some shape or form on 17 holes, and nearly 60 soft sand bunkers add aesthetic beauty and challenge. For more info, visit our alpha page for the
