Manatee Golf Course in Bradenton, Florida is an 18-hole championship design that meanders over 6700 yards of relatively level terrain with most holes providing wide landing
zones and ample recovery room greenside. All greens on the course were renovated in 2013 and now feature beautiful tifeagle putting surfaces. This is a great course for
beginners, mid range players and for those wishing to begin their Florida trip on a course that is fun to play and not overly challenging.
Thirteen holes have water in play in some shape or form, but many of the hazards are located along the perimeters, with just a few formidable carries. Those playing from the gold
and red tees will not be overly challenged. There are 39 soft sand bunkers situated near the landing zones off the tee or greenside. The course is well marked with 100/150/200
yard markers on the fairways, 150 yard stakes on all par fours and fives, and sprinkler heads art measured to the center of the greens. The flagsticks have small flags up, middle
or down to indicate the day's hole locations.
There are 5 sets of tee boxes - so golfers of all skill levels should be able to choose a set that fits their game. The tee areas play to distances and slopes measuring 6433
yards/116 slope, 5954 yards/116 slope, 5444 yards/111 slope for men and 127 for women, 4823 yards/117 slope for women, and family tees at 3445 yards with a slope of 90 for
those hitting from the red boxes. This is truly a player friendly experience for all levels of golfers.
