Sweetwater Golf & Country Club | Florida golf course

Sweetwater Golf Club in Apopka is a traditional course that meanders through a residential community. Partial cart paths lead to tree lined fairways with several doglegs along a gently rolling terrain. Tee times are now open to the public at all times.

There are 62 sand bunkers situated along the landing zones on the gently rolling fairways or greenside, and water comes into play in some shape or form on 5 holes. There are some forced carries but most of the water is located on the perimeters. The fairways are usually bound by woodlands, water and or sand bunkers.

The front nine plays along a generally level terrain, but the back side is much more undulating. Number 11 plays downhill with a pond to the left of the 150 stake, and the 12th and 13th play very much uphill. The mildly sloped Tif Eagle greens were very consistent and in fantastic shape on our spring visit.

With the 5 tee areas, plentiful room near the greens and generally wide fairways, this is a course that can be fun for all levels of golfers. This is a good value for the area! For more info, visit our page for the course with direct link to their website by clicking here.
