TIBURON GOLD REVIEW
The images in this review are of The Gold Course.
Both courses at Tiburon were designed by Greg Norman, feature outstanding conditioning from tee to green, with tropical landscaping plus amenities and service that rivals that of
that the best private facilities in Florida. The clubhouse is picturesque, and includes a well stocked golf shop, locker rooms with showers, a restaurant and lounge, plus snack
area with outdoor patio. Practice facilities include a targeted grass range with stacks of complimentary balls, a short game area with sand bunker, plus putting green. Bobby
Clampett's Impact Zone Golf School is also on property, with lessons and instruction of all types.
The golf carts on both courses are equipped with an ice chest and rake (for bunkers) and also feature a GPS navigational program that provides accurate info from tee to the pin.
Each tee box is marked to indicate championship, back, middle or forward tee areas. Besides the challenging green complexes, unique features include long drives over wooden
bridges (over water and through forests/swampland) and greenside bunkers complexes with sod faced walls.

The Gold Course is a great sister property to The Black Course, with a similar design and beauty. Like The Black Course this course provides lush playing conditions and
wonderful views. The green complexes can also be penal - though the penalties here are not as severe and immediate as those on The Black Course. The bunker complexes are
often sprawling, and hard to avoid as there are approximately 48 of them scattered about this layout. 13 holes have water in play in some shape or form.
There are 5 sets of tee areas that play to distances and slopes measuring 7382 yards/137 slope, 6790 yards/132 slope, 6121 yards/121 slope, 5711 yards/115 slope for men and
130 for women, and 5112 yards with a slope of 119 for ladies and 108 for men hitting from the forward tees. This course is longer - but definitely is the easier of the two layouts.
The Gold course at Tiburon is the newer of the 2 designs on property, and is as beautiful and almost as challenging as The Black Course. For more information, visit our listing
