VILLAGE GOLF CLUB (561-793-1400)
Florida Golf Coruse Review
The Village Golf Club in West Palm Beach is a traditional tee lined championship layout that was designed in 1968 by Mark Mahannah. The 6880 yard layout features water in play
in some way, shape or form on all 18 holes, with 64 sand bunkers lining the fairways and situated greenside. Five sets of tees play to distances and slopes measuring 6880
yards/134 slope, 6464 yards/128 slope, 5965 yards/123 slope, 5455 yards/122 slope and 5082 with a slope of 126 for women.
Though tree-lined, the fairways present ample landing areas, as evidenced by the photos in this pictorial review. On property are a driving range, putting green and short game
area with practice bunker, plus a clubhouse featuring a small pro shop, locker rooms with showers, and a lounge/snack bar that serves lunch items, beverages and snacks from 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM.
The course is well marked with 100, 150 and 200 yards stakes on the fairways, plus color coded flags to indicate the day's pin placements. Weather covers are standard on all golf carts.
Conveniently located just 5 miles off the Florida Turnpike near Okeechobee Blvd, The Village presents locals and visitors with the opportunity to play a championship layout at
affordable prices. Rates including cart top out at just $47 during the 2010/11 season. For more info, visit our page for the property, with direct link to their website by clicking here.
