ORANGE LAKE RESORT Legends Walk Par 3 ( 407-239-1050)
Florida Golf Course Review
The Legends Walk is a beautiful nine hole par three walking course, open for night play with tee times available until 9 pm. It is part of the 54-hole golf complex that makes Orange
Lake one of the premier golf destinations in Orlando. Orange Lake boasts upscale condominium style accommodations, villas and time share units, along with a full array of
amenities such as swimming pools, tennis courts, mini golf, workout facility, meeting/conference areas, dining options and more. The golf complex features 36 holes of
championship golf (with the opening of the Reserve resort course scheduled for December 2005) the Legends (Arnold Palmer), plus Cranes Bend - a par 30 executive style 9-hole
design. This review features photos and description of the nine-hole par three Legends Walk. For photos and info about the Arnold Palmer designed Legends, Legends Walk, and
the new resort course (The Reserve) - scroll down on this page...
The Legends Walk has its own clubhouse and a practice green, with snacks and beverages also available. There are up to five sets of tees, measuring 1581, 1487, 1359, 1204
and 953 yards. The holes range in distance from 85 to 222 yards. There are water hazards and plentiful bunkering, and gentle slopes in the varying green complexes. This is a fun
round of golf, and an experience that can be shared by golf buffs and families alike...the fact that the course is open for night play is an added bonus!
Those who have not visited Orange Lake in the past year will be extremely surprised and pleased with the new upscale conditioning program on property - on all the golf courses.
This facility is open to the public, and resort guests receive a substantial discount. Also on the Orange Lake property the "Swings the Thing" Golf School - directed by Top 50
Instructors Rick McCord and Dick Farley, and rated among the 25 best golf schools in America by Golf Magazine. Call 407-905-1955 for details on the variety of instructional
programs. For more info on Cranes Landing including direct link to their website, click here.
